5 easy, low-competition website ideas to vibe code

I shared this earlier over on X, and wanted to share it here as well.

AI has made it possible for anyone to build sites that previously only developers could build.

Now, anyone can just “vibe code” something in less than an hour that has actual real-world demand.

And if you pick something without much competition, you have a much higher chance of getting traffic and revenue.

Here are 5 very easy, low-competition ideas:

1. Snow day calculator

A snow day calculator uses forecasts and location to calculate the chance of school being closed due to heavy snowfall. Not hard to build with AI. You could probably one-shot this even.

• Massive search volume in winter (500K+/mo)

• Extremely weak competition

Here’s a site with a DR/DA of 1 which had 44K visitors in February:

Low authority sites getting this much traffic indicate a very easy, low-competition niche.

2. Interpolation calculator

• 10K-20K monthly search volume

• A couple very low authority sites ranking on the first page of Google (and getting traffic).

Ultra-easy to code with AI. This would be a one-shot build.

3. Asphalt calculator

• 10K-20K monthly search volume

• Super simple calculator, would be a one-shot build with AI.

This is your competition - a site ranking on the FIRST PAGE of Google, without SSL, and with animations and blinking lights like it's the early 2000s:

4. ERA calculator

• Around 10,000 monthly search volume

• Simple, one-shot build with AI

• Multiple low DA/DR sites ranking on the first page of Google

Another ancient, ugly site ranking on the first page:

5. SCHD dividend calculator

• 5K-10K monthly search volume

• Very high value niche (investing), so good for ad RPM

• 4 sites with DRs of 0 or 1 ranking on the first page, getting traffic.

• Would take a few minutes to build with AI.
