This morning, I received the highly-anticipated Motion Invest “new listings” email, and boy was there a gem in it today!

A site that was started 3/16/2026 - just a few days less than 5 months ago, that had 174,000+ pageviews in the last 30 days.

In the last two months, it earned $932 and $626 respectively, all from Monumetric ads.

It’s listed at $9,500, which seems like a steal considering the traffic and earnings. The “catch”/reason why it’s listed so low is likely because the site is so new, and therefore high risk.

You can view the listing here (aff link 😉). You’ll have to sign up to Motion Invest (it’s free) to view the live Google Analytics data.

The site is thebananaball.com.

Most traffic is from Google. Evidently the “banana ball” niche is rather untapped, considering such a new site has become an authority so quickly. Here are the top pages by traffic. You can view the rest on the listing (if signed in):

The site ranks well for many Banana Ball-related keywords. You can see the top keywords here.

Banana Ball is such a new sport, and rapidly gaining popularity, which explains this site’s meteoric rise. Here’s Google Trends data for “banana ball”:

I suspect it’ll only continue gaining popularity. I first heard about it from my younger brothers last year, and have been hearing about it more and more ever since. People like the faster pace, extreme showmanship, and trick plays, which you don’t see in the MLB.

Great time to acquire this site, which appears to already be an authority in Google’s eyes, or build your own in the banana ball niche…

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for other trends. Many trends are largely untapped early on.

By the way, the FAQs on the Motion Invest listing go into detail on how the site was built in case you’re curious!

My gears are turning, hopefully yours are too now…

Thanks for reading!

Ian

P.S.

I’m working on a follow-up to my last email, explaining the keyword research and content automation process I used for my passive niche site. Stay tuned!
