$600+/mo from a very weird faceless YouTube channel
Today, a YouTube channel with 345,000 subscribers was listed for sale on Motion Invest.
It’s probably the weirdest niche channel I’ve ever seen.
You can check out the channel listing here (affiliate link :))
99% of the videos are variations of the “Wheels on the Bus” kids song.
Quick ad break to tell you that the lifetime plan for Site Stats Database will be going away on Wednesday, February 12th.
Until then, you can still get lifetime access for $399.
The channel gets 6,500,000 monthly views and makes over $600/mo. The ad revenue is low compared to the number of views because the videos are marked as “made for kids”.
The asking price?
$16,000.
Seems like a steal when you see just how consistent the income has been over the past year:

Seems like even more of a steal when you consider the video creation is all outsourced at just $2 each.

And… if that wasn’t enough, the seller will include 500 yet-to-be-published videos in the sale if it sells within 4 months:

Anyway… this email is about the crazy YouTube niche of sound variations, not a sales pitch lol!
What I find most fascinating about this channel is that it has over 1,000 videos that are basically the same thing. The same lyrics and video repeated multiple times with different effects.
This is their top video (with 165 MILLION views!):
That video is from two years ago.
Today, the channel is STILL producing videos just like that, and they’re somehow racking up thousands of views.

Is this not the weirdest niche you’ve ever seen?? 😵💫
In the FAQ section of the listing page, the seller said that if the buyer was able to get the “made for kids” setting overturned, revenue would 3-5X:

This got me thinking…
Could you build a similar channel but around a popular song that wasn’t specifically for kids?
Or, what about a channel of weird remixes of multiple popular songs? The remixes wouldn’t even be hard to create unless you were very particular.
In fact, the editor for the “wheels on the bus” channel just uses https://voicechanger.io/ to make the weird sound variations.
The seller actually gives the step-by-step process for producing the videos:

So, hear me out.
Could you theoretically upload any song to that voice changer site, get some stock visuals to go along with it, upload to YouTube, and repeat?
Sounds like the easiest faceless channel idea ever, and it has massive potential since you’d be remixing already popular songs. I’m sure lots of fans would be very curious to listen to weird variations!
I just might have to try it and see how it goes lol. If I do and it actually goes somewhere, I’ll report back. And if you try it, I’d love to hear how it goes!
Anyway, that’s it for today. When I saw that listing today, I couldn’t resist sharing it here!
Hope you enjoyed this one!
Thanks for reading,
Ian
