Here are 100+ available EMDs for the taking
First come, first served
You’re probably aware that I run another newsletter called EMD Gold, where I share available exact match domain names.
In a recent email, I said I was possibly interested in selling that newsletter. Well, not anymore. I’m keeping it and plan to keep growing it as it’s a really fun side hustle for me.
This is good news for y’all because it means I’ll be sharing some available EMDs (exact match domains) with you for free! The hope is that you’ll then want to sign up for EMD Gold to receive WAY more EMDs every single month. 😄
Today, I’m sharing over 100 valuable EMDs to give you a taste of what you can expect from the Gold plan.
If you see any you want, register them quick because thousands of other people will read this email….
Here’s the list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-_JiYVugP-rnA7MwBaTTaFllDlSYMh4qVgdwdtl_AU0/edit?usp=sharing
All were available at the time of writing.
I want to highlight a few domains from that list to explain their value:
KristenFisher .com
“Name” domains are extremely valuable to the right buyer (which would probably be someone with that name, or their agent).
“kristen fisher” gets searched in Google 14,800 times per month.
Other “name” domains (with fisher as the last name) are currently listed on sale for quite decent sums:
If you buy this domain, I think the best route to flip it for a profit would be to find people named Kristen Fisher and let them know you have this domain for sale. Name your price, or let them give you an offer. You could also try listing it as an auction, but it probably wouldn’t sell for much.
In the list of 100+ EMDs I shared above, there are a few other “name” EMDs at the bottom of the list. And if you subscribe to the Gold plan ($99/mo), you’ll get a list of 2,000+ available EMDs every month which will include a dozen or more name EMDs.
DrHowes .com
This is similar to the one above. Great domain name for a doctor with the last name Howes.
“dr howes” gets searched in Google 1,600 times per month.
Other “Dr” domains are listed at some juicy sums:
Check the list of 100+ EMDs for more doctor EMDs. And again, Gold-level subscribers of EMD Gold get a list of even more available doctor EMDs every month.
AreaOfASector .com
Perfect EMD for an area of a sector calculator. Great little online tool site idea, which you could create in less than an hour (with the help of AI). Monetize with ads once traffic starts rolling in.
“area of a sector” gets searched in Google up to 90,500 times per month, according to Keywords Everywhere. 😳
I’ve talked about online tool sites in this newsletter before. EMDs work great for these, especially if you find a low competition niche. And if there’s enough search volume, they can provide a steady passive income for years to come. The side hustler’s dream.
AllentownFence .com
This EMD is PERFECT for a rank and rent site.
Allentown, Pennsylvania has a population of 125,000.
“allentown fence company” gets searched in Google 170 times per month. Enough to make a rank and rent site very feasible.
And, the competition is quite low. The top ranking site has a domain authority of 1 (and it’s a rank and rent site, by the way).
Another site on the first page doesn’t even have SSL.
EZ.
TigardJobs .com
Nice EMD for a job board specific to Tigard, Oregon (which has a population of 56,000).
Job boards can be crazy lucrative.
For example, there’s a job board just for Milwaukee, Wisconsin that charges $295 per 60-day job posting. There are thousands of jobs listed. They’re probably making millions per year, just with a location-specific job board! (I wrote more about it here btw).
Tigard, Oregon is a lot smaller than Milwaukee, but it’s large enough that there are currently over 32,000 job openings in Tigard (and the surrounding area):
That should be more than enough to justify building a job board for the area.
Hope you’re beginning to see how valuable some of these surprisingly-still-available domain names are.
If you want more great EMDs, I share 2,000+ of them every month with Gold-tier subscribers of EMD Gold. Subscribe here (next list dropping December 1st!)
If you join the Gold plan, you’ll also have access to all past EMD lists. There are still plenty of unregistered gems on those! I can’t believe how few people subscribe, but I guess it’s a good thing for those who do. Less competition. 😏
And now, a totally different subject…
I usually charge $200 for a regular newsletter sponsorship.
With 7,800 subscribers and a ~43% open rate, that’s a steal. Other “niche site” newsletters are charging $400-$500 with this many subscribers.
But, I’ll be perfectly honest:
No one’s booking sponsorships.
My past sponsors have all been happy with their results (and I even run their ads again for free if they don’t hit a certain number of clicks).
I probably don’t do enough sponsorship outreach. Almost all my sponsors have been inbound. I like it that way. But it means I get very few sponsors.
Sponsors are one of the main reasons I can afford to write this newsletter. When sponsorship revenue dries up (like it has recently), it’s harder to justify sending these emails.
My last five emails received lots of nice comments, but they resulted in a combined $0 in revenue. $0 from affiliates, $0 from my own products, $0 from sponsorships.
So, I’ve decided to lower the cost of sponsoring this newsletter to $99. This is just enough to make it worthwhile for me, and more than low enough to be worthwhile for a sponsor.
Hope you enjoyed this email and got some value from the EMD list I shared.
Thanks for reading, and if you celebrate Thanksgiving, hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!
Ian
