The most interesting findings from the Google leak

A roundup of the best analyses I've seen

It’s been a crazy week.

On Monday, news broke that documentation related to Google’s algorithm was leaked:

Since then, there’s been a mad scramble among SEOs to make sense of all the “ranking factors” revealed in the leak.

It’s a lot to keep up with. I decided to collect some of the most interesting analyses of the leak and share them here, all in one place.

Real quick: this is sponsored by Matt Giaro’s newsletter, which talks about selling digital products. I’m a huge fan of digital products because you can create them once and sell them forever, and to an unlimited audience.

Subscribe to Matt’s newsletter if that interests you!

You should definitely spend 11 minutes to watch the full video in the SparkToro blog post linked above. Rand shares some super interesting tidbits from the leak that I haven’t seen others mention.

Are you changing your approach to SEO given the information in the leak?

Are you changing anything about how you do SEO?

Hope you enjoyed this roundup. Back to regular, non-Google leak-related emails after this (unless something huge comes up).

Thanks for reading,

Ian
