Low competition niches with high traffic potential

1.2 million visitors with a DA of 9!?

Today, I’ll be sharing a few low competition niches with high traffic potential.

No lengthy intro, I’ll just jump right in!

Niche #1: Drawing Ideas

This niche is fantastic for both Google and social media.

It’s quite simple too. It just requires publishing articles around different drawing ideas, and including simple images or step-by-step instructions.

The most “legit” approach would be to use your own images, but you can use stock illustrations (or, dare I say, AI) instead which seems to work just fine.

For example, here’s a site that most likely uses AI content (according to my checks on Originality.ai).

hobbiesfun .com

I checked a couple articles and they both came back as likely AI.

It gets 164,000 monthly visitors with a domain rating of just 9 (it only has 16 backlinks!?) And, perhaps most surprisingly, it has just 54 pages!

I checked some of the keywords bringing this site the most traffic, and can confirm that the competition in this niche is very weak.

For instance, the keyword “aesthetic drawing” has a global search volume of 53,000, a keyword difficulty of 0, and the first page of results includes a couple low authority sites (including Hobbies Fun).

Niche #2: Bin Store Locator

If you haven’t heard of bin stores, here’s a quick explanation from Google’s AI Overview:

This is a very interesting niche. It doesn’t have super high traffic potential, but the competition level is incredibly low.

Basically, you create a directory of bin stores and rank for keywords like “bin stores near me” and “bin store wichita ks” (which has a monthly search volume of 450!!)

The sites ranking on the first page for “bin store near me” have domain ratings of 1.5 (that’s the first result!), 6, 23, 32, and 12.

The first result is binstoresfinder .com, which is doing quite well:

This site publishes simple articles about bin stores in each state. This one for Kansas is less than 1,000 words, and most of it is just the details for each store.

With good data and programmatic SEO, it would be super easy to whip up a simple bin store locator site like this.

Niche #3: Sound Buttons

I covered this niche a while back but it’s worth bringing up again. It’s very odd and is exactly what it sounds like: a website with buttons you can click to make various sounds.

This is the site that ranks #1 for the keyword “sound buttons” (605K global search volume):

1.2 million monthly visitors with 60 referring domains and a DR of 9!!

And that’s not even the top sound button site. The crown belongs to myinstants .com:

Absolutely ridiculous traffic numbers.

There are many other sound button sites that get lots of traffic with very low authority. I think I’m in the wrong business! 😅

I found all the above sites in less than a minute using Site Stats Database. I simply sorted the database by highest “performance score” (which takes into account traffic, domain authority, and site age).

Those 3 are pretty wild but there are tons more that you’ll have to join SSDB in order to see.

Such as a site that gets 305K monthly visitors with a DA of 1. And a site that gets 363K monthly visitors (according to SimilarWeb) with a DA of 7. Both in entirely different niches I haven’t shared.

In fact, there are 4,097 sites in the database right now that get over 50,000 monthly visitors and have a DA of 20 or below!

Site Stats Database is a goldmine for finding low competition niche ideas.

And it’s only $39/mo.

Actually, until July 31st, it’s just $29.25/mo if you use the discount code PDWAXQYU25

Hope you enjoyed this email and got some niche idea inspiration! If you enjoy emails like this, I can assure you, SSDB will tickle you pink. 😁
