Successfully ranking brand new sites in Google
It's all in the keyword research
Quick one today.
I tweeted about ClearSERP today and one of my customers replied with screenshots showing traffic for 3 of his brand new sites:
Site 1 (1 week old) already has 4 clicks from Google (it gets better):
I've been using this feature. Site 1 week old

Site 2: 2 weeks old (already has 347 clicks and nearly 50K impressions!!)

Site 3: 3 weeks old and already has 455 clicks and 15.7K impressions!

He used ClearSERP to find easy keywords to target:
Yes, all built with ClearSERP keywords.

I asked in a DM if I could share his screenshots here in my newsletter and whether he did anything else besides target easy keywords.
His reply:
Sure, go ahead! I just targeted easy keywords on ClearSERP (KD 0–3), each site has around 10 articles. All the sites are in different niches but focused on a US audience. Nothing fancy beyond that.
So let me get this straight:
He used ClearSERP to find easy keywords for 3 different niches with a US-based audience.
Launched 3 sites with ~10 articles each.
Traffic started rolling in.
Crazy.
Just goes to show that targeting low competition keywords still works!
If you haven’t moved over to ClearSERP for your keyword research yet, there’s no better time than the present.
And I can’t think of a better testimonial for ClearSERP than 3 brand new sites already getting this level of traffic (from just ~10 articles).
Hope this was inspiring. I know it was for me! Now I wanna go launch a bunch of niche sites like it’s 2018 again and see what happens lol.
Thanks for reading,
Ian
P.S. I should mention that Google still doesn’t favor traditional niche sites in most cases (I’ve seen plenty of exceptions though), so the results above aren’t typical. Targeting low competition, high search volume keywords is the best way to get fast results like the above (and is precisely what Mncedisi Bhembe did). With ClearSERP, it’s super easy to find low competition, high volume keywords.
