Traffic changes for 4,024 sites since HCU (new data)

Quick one today.

  1. I updated the spreadsheet I sent in my last email. It now contains traffic data for 4,024 Mediavine-monetized sites from October 2023 to now. It only includes sites currently getting at least 1,000 visitors/mo.

You can use the spreadsheet to identify sites currently seeing traffic increases (or decreases) during this August Core update. With a few filters, you can even see sites that have recovered most or all of their traffic from October last year. If you publish any findings with this data, a mention of my newsletter as the source would be appreciated! 😁 

  1. This coming Sunday (September 1st), paid subscribers of my other newsletter, EMD Gold, will receive lists of high-value, available-to-hand-register exact match domains.

When I say “high-value”, this is what I mean:

“pearland junk removal” has an estimated monthly search volume of 170 and a CPC of $4.38 according to Keywords Everywhere.

This is a perfect domain for a rank and rent site. If you don’t know what that means, I wrote about the rank and rent business model here.

Another example of a high value EMD:

nicknamesgenerator [dot] com (also available at the time of sending this).

“nicknames generator” has a monthly search volume of 40,500 according to Keywords Everywhere.

AND, the domain nicknamesgenerator .com already has a Domain Authority of 12, meaning it’s got some level of “authority” - you aren’t starting completely from scratch.
