Two huge announcements
Biggest SEO news...ever?
I’ve got a couple big things to share today.
First, I’m launching something new. Here it is:
I’ve had multiple people ask me to help them reach more potential buyers for businesses they’ve listed for sale. Acquire Sites is my solution.
It’s a platform that connects buyers and sellers of online businesses. It’s not a brokerage service. Buyers and sellers handle the entire acquisition process. Acquire Sites simply helps you get more eyeballs on your listings, and reach more potential buyers.
Even if you already have a business listed for sale elsewhere, you can add it to Acquire Sites (directing buyers to the original listing) to maximize your reach and chances of a sale.
Go check it out and be sure to add any businesses you have for sale! I expect it’ll get a lot of traffic after this announcement. 🙂
If you run into any problems using the site, let me know ASAP! It’s still in beta so I expect there are a few issues I’ve yet to find.
The second huge announcement (much bigger than the first 😆) is that documentation related to Google’s algorithm was leaked.
Ok, let's get this party started!
A couple weeks ago I said I was publishing the most important thing I ever wrote. I was wrong.
Documentation related to the Google Search algorithm leaked and I spent the weekend tearing it apart.

This is the biggest story in SEO since… I’m not sure when. Ever, maybe?
Read the full breakdown here: https://ipullrank.com/google-algo-leak
There are tons of interesting tidbits from the piece, such as this:
And this:
"Don't disavow anything, Google just ignores bad links"
"The concept of toxic links is made up"

And here’s the link to the actual leaked documentation, so you can dig through it yourself: https://hexdocs.pm/google_api_content_warehouse/0.4.0/api-reference.html
That’s all for today. Instead of reading more from me, you should go read the article from Mic King. And check out Acquire Sites of course. 😄
Thanks for reading,
Ian
