Update on my Bing site, and ClearSERP Black Friday deal
...plus, I'm growing a Facebook page
In my last newsletter, I talked about one of my sites that was hitting new traffic records.
Well, that trend has continued:

Today will be another record day. Already just 14 visitors shy of the previous record, and there are still 6 hours to go until midnight!
This traffic explosion is just from publishing lots more articles. From ~150 to ~600 in about two weeks, with another 24 published every day on autopilot.
All these articles target low competition keywords my competitors are ranking for. Works like a charm for Bing/Yahoo/DDG traffic. I found the keywords with ClearSERP.
Speaking of ClearSERP, starting today, credits on all plans have been doubled, meaning ClearSERP is 50% cheaper. Happy Black Friday. 🙂
If you already have a subscription and want double credits, just reply with your ClearSERP account email and I’ll get you sorted! No need to cancel and resubscribe.
If you use Semrush or Ahrefs for keyword research and are looking for a much better and way cheaper alternative, check out ClearSERP.
I shared in my last email that I built a tool to generate the articles automatically, according to my exact specifications.
Many of you reached out to me expressing your interest in the tool and requesting various features. I’ve been working non-stop on it ever since.
Let me share a few of the updates I’ve made:
Multi-agent workflows instead of single agents
String multiple agents together that will all work on the same article. Meaning you can have a research agent, an outlining agent, a writing agent (or multiple writers for different sections if you want a super long article), and so on. You can customize the model and prompt for each sub-agent, and each agent has the previous agent’s context.
Image generation (but different from any other tool)
Most tools like this offer AI image generation or stock photo integrations. But I went a step further with my tool and built an “Image Template” feature. Meaning you can create a base template, and map variables like keyword, title, or image to the template (with detailed configuration options):

This way, you can set up a different agent for each type of article you’re writing, and have it automatically generate consistent images (featured image or in-article). It won’t work for some use-cases, but I’ll give you an example where it would be incredibly useful.
Let’s say you have a “synonyms” niche site. You want to publish an article for every English word, where you list that word’s synonyms. And let’s say you want a featured image that says “# Synonyms for [Word]” (like “27 Synonyms for Awesome”). You would set up an image template, which might have your site name and other elements in the image (these would be fixed for every article), and a text variable where you want the title text to go. You’d then map the text variable to Source: Title, and set the Word/Character selection to First N words, and set the number of words to 4.
Now, every article will have a consistent featured image with the title where the text variable was placed:

Image template example
This is WAY more efficient than generating an AI image for each article (and way cheaper, as it’s 100% free).
Another example of how this feature can be used is for “Best of” style articles that list a bunch of products from Amazon.
You can set up a template for in-article images, map the variable to Amazon product images, and then have a custom, branded image for each product instead of just the raw image ripped directly from Amazon.
Just like how the Telegraph site does it:

My tool can generate images like this for Amazon products :)
Style guides that can be used by any agent
Another cool feature I built is style guides. You can create any number of style guides, and when you create an agent, you can force it to follow any style guide. You can use style guides to:
Give an example of your “voice”
Humanize the content
Give examples of a format (like “best of” buyer guides)
Any rules you want the agent to follow
Those are just a few of the features I’ve added in the last week and a half. I have a couple more features I need to add (automatic internal linking is one of them) before I launch.
The basic function of the tool remains the same as I explained in my last newsletter.
You create an agent
You assign keywords to that agent
You run the agent to generate articles, which are then posted directly to your site
You can connect as many sites and run as many agents as you want
The tool will be bring-your-own-key and priced very reasonably.
If you have any features you’d like me to add, reply and let me know!
I should probably just launch before adding too many more features, in case I’m wasting my time and no one actually buys this lol. So stay tuned, should be launching soon (December? Hopefully?)
For the last few months, I’ve been growing a Facebook page with the hopes of driving traffic to one of my sites and perhaps earning from FB’s Content Monetization program.
So far, the page has 6,800 followers.
I’ve been growing it with page like ads. Got the cost per follow down to 3 cents. Trying to get it lower, but so far that’s the lowest I can get in this niche. It’s a US-based, older audience (mostly 65+).
I’ve been posting 2-3 times per day on the page. Planning to ramp it up to 8-12 once the page hits 10K followers. But maybe I should do that now? The other day, I finally had a post organically reach 9,000 views (and growing).

It’s not huge, but I think it’s a good sign my page is finally starting to reach an audience outside my followers alone.
Btw, those link clicks must be on the “read more” link, as I didn’t add any links to the post…
I started going through Andy Skraga’s “Content Into Cash: The Facebook Monetization Masterclass” course, hoping to gain a better understanding of Facebook page growth and monetization. So far, I can say the course is very thorough and helpful. I haven’t gotten very far in it yet though. I’ll share a longer review once I finish it!
Anyway, just wanted to share about my foray into Facebook pages. I’m sure I’ll have more to share as my page continues to grow!
Thanks for reading,
Ian
P.S. Don’t forget, you can now get DOUBLE credits on all ClearSERP plans starting today. Happy Black Friday season!
